YouThink 2012: Film Literacy Towards National Development

Calling all film enthusiast to get reacquainted with Philippine Cinema!

Find out about YouThink 2012 under the cut

St. Paul University Quezon City's 4th year Mass Communication students are bringing together bright minds in the Philippine film industry to talk about the state of our local film industry and educate us on how film as a medium can be maximized to its full potential as an agent of values and positive social transformation.

For one day make the most out your 200php out of the YouThink congress. From this event not only will you get to learn but also get answers to your questions from a national artist in literature who is a film critic, a film archivist, a blogger, film professors, film makers, and government representatives all in the name of Philippine films! (press kits, snacks and lunch included as well). This is a one day forum you have to take advantage of.

Here's a peek at the program:
I'd put my 200php to good use block the date and lets see each other at the YouThink 2012 conference this February 8, 2012 at the Father James B. Reuter Theater in St. Paul Quezon City.

Here is the best part yet, the organizers are giving away a pair of tickets to a lucky twitter follower. Follow them on twitter: https://twitter.com/#!/youthink2012 just make sure you use the #YOUTHINK2012 hash tag in order to qualify for the raffle.

Are you excited? I know I am. I can't wait to meet a national artist in person!
